PREPARE PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS FOR REVIEWERS

Consider producing a business card that features an image for easier recollection; I always appreciate it when the image matches one the Artist shared with me at the event; this aids the Reviewers in recalling your work and your presentation to them. Present yourself in a professional manner by having current information on the card. Design/produce a simple promotional piece that will serve to remind the Reviewers of your work as well as providing them your contact information.   I appreciate having something in print (or CD-ROM) featuring reproduction of several images from your body of work (all Reviewers will meet with many Artists during this event; it never hurts to remind them visually of your work). Make sure it is small enough for Reviewers to file in a traditional (8-1/2 x 11) file folder, for ease in referencing your work. Be mindful of the possibility that materials can become separated; put your name and contact information on EACH individual page.

Must-Have Pieces In Your portfolio:

The quality of your art portfolio has the single biggest impact on your application to art school. It's critical that your portfolio shows off work that best represents your technical skills and perspective.

Foundation Year (First-Year Students):

Smoking is responsible for several diseases, such as cancer, long-term (chronic) respiratory diseases, and heart disease, as well as premature death. Over 480,000 people in the USA and 100,000 in the UK die because of smoking each year. According the US CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), $92 billion are lost each year from lost productivity resulting from smoking-related deaths.

Of the more than 2.4 million deaths in the USA annually, over 480,000 are caused by smoking.1

Smoking is the largest cause of preventable death in the world. Recent studies have found that smokers can undermine the health of non-smokers in some environments.

In an article published online in Medical News Today on 30 May 2013, we presented data demonstrating that, on average, smokers die ten years sooner than non-smokers.

Topic:

We can’t all have our beach poses topped with copious, feathered blond locks, but we do all require swimwear, especially now that summer is upon us. As the thermometer rises, we seek water: a dip in the ocean, lounging poolside, hopping through an open fireplug on the street. All of which means donning a bathing suit.

And that often means finding a bathing suit, which can be overwhelming considering the surplus of options: a one- or two-piece; sport or leisure, monotone or patterned?
