Students must be prepared to make a major commitment. It is our assumption that students entering the program are here to lay a foundation for a career in a design field and will be required to meet rigorous and stringent standards. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required as is the ability to read and analyze. Serious students will find that the program will provide them with an excellent opportunity to develop the skills necessary to succeed in the job market or advance in education. _Most of the students graduating from the program _continue their education.

Potato Chip Design Project:

The prevailing story of the origin of the potato chip starts in Saratoga Springs, New York, a historically affluent and resort community. It was 1853, eight years before the beginning of the Civil War. Known for its mineral springs and their supposed rejuvenation properties, Saratoga Springs had just started becoming a tourist destination with help of the railroad that cut through the town. Resorts, inns, restaurants, and spas had begun to crop up along the shores of Saratoga Lake. Moon’s Lake House, owned by Cary Moon, was one of the finest of those restaurants. Vacationers and wealthy summer home owners visited the restaurant often. At the restaurant, two people shared the cooking responsibilities, Catherine “Aunt Kate” Weeks and her brother (or brother-in-law, depending on who’s telling the story), George Crum.

Logo Design

The chips are a good tasty food for our meals. The taste of the chips can make the customer’s tongue feel awesome. The packing materials used for chips packaging are usually plastic wrapper, plastic bottle and paper wrapper. These materials using the modern technology can be made more presentable packaging designs. In chips packaging design, we must use the elegant and fresh colors. These colors would put message to the audience that the chips are really interesting and tasty too.

By using the modern theme where the chips are easily available food for all people needs the elegant branding. By using the delicious image of the product taste, we must use fresh color to make it better. Retro theme can be used on the chip packaging for the chip’s existence of the people meals.

The plastic wrapper material is used for the simple and best usage in the chip packaging. The plastic bottle can be used in chip packaging for the easy way to carry by people. The paper wrapper material can use for the green campaign of the recycling of the chip packaging material. For the chips producers that really concern about impact of the plastic materials, can choose proper material for friendliness of the global environment.

The brand name of chips should show the main material branding of the chip’s producers. The chips material’s sourcing must explain well, so people will know the taste of each product that put in each package.
